Indoor Succulent Plant Pack: Care Guide
Light and Water
Place in bright, indirect light (4–6 hours daily). Direct sun may scorch leaves, while low light can cause elongation. Water sparingly using the “soak and dry” method: drench soil thoroughly, then let it dry completely before rewatering. Reduce frequency in winter.
Soil and Fertilizing
Use a gritty, well-draining cactus/succulent mix to prevent root rot. Add perlite or pumice for extra drainage. Fertilize lightly in spring/summer with a diluted succulent formula (half-strength). Avoid feeding in dormancy (fall/winter).
Temperature and Humidity
Thrive in temperatures between 60-80°F (15-27°C). Protect from drafts and sudden temperature drops. Prefer dry air avoid misting. Excess humidity can invite rot.
Common Problems
- Overwatering: Yellowing or mushy leaves signal root rot. Let the soil dry and trim the affected roots.
- Leggy growth: Insufficient light causes stretching. Move to a brighter location.
- Pests: Watch for mealybugs or aphids. Treat with insecticidal soap or rubbing alcohol.
Best Locations & Uses
- Sunny windowsills: South- or east-facing spots for compact growth.
- Office desks: Add greenery to workspaces without demanding attention.
- Hanging planters: Showcase trailing varieties like String of Pearls or Dolphins.
- Terrariums or dish gardens: Create miniature desert landscapes.
- Gift-ready: Packaged for gifting to plant enthusiasts or home decorators.
